mars and venus

Mexican men and women interact on a quite different plain compared to their North American counterparts. I spend a lot of time observing the natives in their natural habitat through the medium of television. Admittedly my TV experience revolves primarily around sports, but I feel comfortable reporting on several fronts.

Mexican women are primarily concerned about their bodies – particularly the middle and upper portions thereof. There seems to be a direct relationship between romance and cleavage. They also worry about breath and bathroom odors and those hard to clean kitchen spills. Children’s health and banking issues seem to be further down on their list of priorities.

Mexican men are mainly concerned about beer. The reason for this is quite obvious as it is through choosing the right beer that one meets and mates with lots of good-looking women (with fine cleavage). Mexican men are also fanatical about futbol. They worry about their bodies - particularly the middle and lower portions thereof - mainly with respect to performance. Thus, by choosing the right moment, good performance means they don’t miss too much futbol and can get back to enjoying the rigth beer.

The climate here is more variable than advertised. In their defense, those that claim it is the land of eternal spring say: “Well if it is 30 during the day and 20 at night the average is 25 – a nice spring temp.” People are beginning to look forward to some rain to cool the place down a bit. It is starting to threaten in the evenings more and more but still not much of the actual wet stuff.
